These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Maryanne application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital consent age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you are not barred from using the Service under any applicable law.
You may use the Service anonymously or by creating an account with a valid email address. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at admin@sentrialabs.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
An anonymous account may be linked to a permanent email-based account at any time. Once linked, the permanent account becomes the authoritative account and the anonymous record is retired.
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat and the Apple App Store or Google Play. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the applicable store’s terms in addition to these Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your store account settings.
If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
Refund requests are handled by the platform through which the purchase was made (Apple App Store or Google Play) and are subject to that platform’s refund policies. Contact us at admin@sentrialabs.com if you need help initiating a refund request.
We may change subscription prices for new billing cycles with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the content you create, upload, or store through the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate the Service.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to Your Content, and that Your Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.
The Service (excluding Your Content) is owned by Maryanne and its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the Service without our prior written consent.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including (but not limited to) if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions at Delete Account.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL Maryanne, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maryanne, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts located in the State of California, USA, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice (for example, an in-app notification or an email to your registered address). Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
